Today I suggest wine jam or spiced red wine jam, delicious with biscuits, but also with mature cheeses. It is prepared in no time and goes very well with dry biscuits, or the last slice of pandoro.

Wine jam with spices
Ingredients for 2 jars
- 1 bottle of red wine
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 1 vanilla shell
- half a nutmeg
- 600 g caster sugar
- Cooking time: 10 minutes
- Infusion time: 30 minutes
Procedure
Heat the wine with all the spices and let it steep for 30 minutes.
Add the sugar and heat gently again until it comes to the boil.
Keep boiling until the wine takes on the consistency of honey or jelly.
Filter the wine from the spicespour it into the already sterilised jars and hermetically seal them.
